The North American Insulation Manufacturer’s Association (NAIMA) 202-96 standard “For Flexible Fiber Glass Insulation to be Laminated for Use in Metal Buildings” sets the thermal resistance requirements for unfaced fiberglass insulation. The National Insulation Association’s (NIA) “Certified Faced Insulation Standard” sets the requirements for products produced by metal building insulation laminators. Our certification procedures for insulation products include periodic factory inspections by Home Innovation field representatives to randomly sample and evaluate product specimens.
